Girl math says you don't need it. Park what you want instead of buying it, decide when the time is up, and keep the receipts of what you did not spend.

How is the app laid out?

There are three tabs: Pending, Receipts and Account. The pink + at the top right of every tab adds something new.

How do I park something?

Tap the pink + and pick one:

• Take a photo. Claude reads the name and price from the photo.
• Paste a link. The name, photo and euro price come with it.
• Type it instead. Add the name and price yourself.

Then choose how long to wait: 3 days, 1 week or 1 month. You can also tag a mood: Bored, Sad, Celebrating or Late night.

Can I park something from Instagram, Pinterest or Safari?

Yes. In the other app, tap Share, then Girl Math.

What is on Pending?

When the time is up, a thing shows as a Ready to decide card at the top. Everything still waiting is in the Still cooling grid below.

How do I decide?

Open a thing that is ready and pick:

• Nope. The money counts as earned, and you get a small celebration.
• Yes, buying it. You can then set a 14 or 30 day return window.
• One more week. It waits another week.

How do return reminders work?

If you set a return window when buying, you get a reminder 2 days before it ends. If you send it back, tap Returned it and it counts as a nope.

Can I change something I parked?

Open it and tap Edit on the Decide screen. You can change the name, price, link, photo and wait, or remove it.

I said nope by mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes. On Receipts, open Nopes, find it and tap Move back to Pending.

What is on Receipts?

• Total not spent. Tap it to flip to what it would be in 10 years.
• Flex it. Shares a picture of your receipt.
• Saving for. Name a goal, with an end date if you like, edit it, or start a new one. Past goals are kept.
• Nopes, Graveyard and Bought. Lists of what you said no to, what you forgot about after a month, and what you bought.
• Your moods. Which mood makes you want to buy the most.

How do reminders work?

When the time is up, you get a notification on your phone. Allow notifications for Girl Math to get them.

Will I hear when something gets cheaper?

Yes, for things you parked with a shop link. Girl Math checks their price every few days, and when it is 3% or more lower you get a notification and the new price shows on the card. Things added from a photo or by typing have no link to check. Allow notifications for Girl Math to get the alert.

Will I lose my receipts on a new phone?

Girl Math has no sign-up. To keep your receipts on a new phone, tap Continue with Apple on Account. On the new phone, tap Continue with Apple on Account again and your receipts come back.

How do I change my default wait?

On Account, choose how long new things wait by default.

What is work math?

On Account, add your monthly take-home pay under Work math. Prices on Decide then show in days of work. Your pay stays on your phone and is never sent anywhere. Leave it empty to turn work math off.

How does the gift list work?

On Account, open Gift list and add things you parked, or nopes you pick. Tap Share link and send it to friends. They can claim a thing so no one buys it twice, and you never see who claimed what. Stop sharing makes the old link stop working and resets the claims.

Where can I read how the app works?

On Account, tap How Girl Math works. Privacy and Support are there too.

How do I delete my account?

At the bottom of Account, tap Delete my account. Your account, everything you parked and your photos are deleted for good.
